Lot 602: Four Victorian Codds.

1. Fair. Stained throughout. 50 mm crack down from rear lip. Little impact bruise to right heel. Couple of impacts and fisheyes to the body. Some scuffs and scratches. A bit of high point wear to the embossing. With the crack at the rear, this still looks OK on the shelf. 2. Good. Little nibbled mark to upper lip and tiny flake to inner lip edge. Stained throughout. Heavily pitted wear, scuffs, scratches and general pit marks throughout. Crate wear to embossing. Little surface flake near base edge on one seam. 3. Good. Stained. Heavy grime, this will soak off. Deep pitted scratch to left upper body. Nibbled shallow flake to upper rear body. Small flake to front shoulder. Oiled with inner base grime. lots of scuffs and scratches, heaviest around the shoulder and neck. Some fisheyes and impact marks. Heavy embossing has some crate wear. 4. Poor. 17 x 9 mm chip to lip on trade mark side. From this is a 70 mm crack down the side chamber. Another crack down the front of the chamber comes down 35 mm from the bottom of the lip. NIbbled chips around inner lip. A few short fractures around the outer lip. Little sliver flake to heel. Stained throughout with scuffs, scratches and patches of wear. Some fisheyes and impact marks. Dirty inside. Crate wear to embossing. EST: $30 - 50
