Excellent (8.5). The most notable thing is oily stain to the plate and lower part of the cover, which no doubt is from use with cheese sitting on the plate. Thin firing crack to the base of the handle on one side. Thin firing cracks also at the top edge of the cover. Has been very well looked after, not a lot of wear or marks to be seen. Wonderful item. This is the exact Cheese cover and plate shown at the top left of Page 189 in Australian Pottery: The First 100 years by Geoff Ford. EST: $300 - 500
