Good (6.4). Fisheye to upper lip. 2 x 9 mm thin chip to front left lip, looks more like a really wide split or cut. Thinner example right next to this. 7 x 2 mm example to front lip. Another small one to lower right lip, all hidden by the spout. These are probably cut marks from a tool of some sort. I base this on the fact that the right shoulder directly down from one of the lip examples has a deep double cut mark from some tool as well over a total of about 5 x 12 mm. Some grime scattered around. A bit of light inner haze. A few fisheyes to the body and some scratches. 20 x 14 mm reasonably deep chip to front left pedestal base edge. 7 x 4 mm flake to left of this. Similar sized small flake to rear base edge. 10 x 9 mm nibbled flake to front right base edge. Couple of discoloured scuff marks to the body. Remains of a flake from making inside the polished pontil. An early and rare item in this lovely honey amber colour. EST: $1500 - 2000.
Reserve: $1500
